LoJack Theft Recovery System

Vehicle theft is a reality today.

A vehicle is stolen every 25 seconds in the U.S. Last year alone, over 1.2 million vehicles were stolen across the country. Alarms and other deterrents are not enough. Depending upon where you live and what make and model you drive, you may be at risk. There is little you can do to prevent a car from being stolen. However, with LoJack you can take control and ensure that if your car is stolen, you'll get it back.

Take control and protect your vehicle with LoJack. The patented LoJack System includes a small radio frequency transceiver hidden in up to 20 places in a your vehicle. Each LoJack System has a unique code that is tied into the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). When a theft is reported to the police, a routine entry into the state police crime computer results in a match of the LoJack System's unique code against the state VIN database. This automatically activates the LoJack System in your car, which emits an inaudible signal. Law enforcement authorities who are equipped with LoJack vehicle tracking units - in their police cruisers and aviation units - are always listening for a LoJack signal. Police use the LoJack vehicle tracking units to track and recover your LoJack equipped vehicle.

LoJack WORKS!

With LoJack you can be confident that your vehicle is being protected, and that LoJack will get it back if it is stolen. We GUARANTEE it!

One billion dollars in equipment is stolen every year. Equipment left at construction sites overnight or on weekends is most susceptible to theft. With the high cost of equipment, how can you afford not to protect yours with LoJack? LoJack has a variety of ways to keep your construction equipment where it belongs. Because the only thing worse than having construction equipment stolen is not having a LoJack to get it back.

Here's How LoJACK Works

Installation
Certified technicians professionally install the LoJack transmitter in any of dozens of locations inside your equipment. There's no telltale external antenna or aerial to give away its presence. The transmitter is powered by your equipment's electrical system with an additional backup battery. LoJack offers a special ruggedized version encased in hardened aluminum designed for hostile environments like water, weather, and the vibration in heavy trucks, off-road vehicles, and construction equipment.

Notification and Activation
When your fleet vehicle or equipment is stolen, simply file a stolen vehicle report with the police. This process automatically initiates the activation process. A silent radio signal is sent directly to your vehicle to activate the hidden LoJack transponder. Unlike GPS based solutions, LoJack signals can penetrate dense trees, underground locations, garages, and other obstructions.

Location
Police use special LoJack-provided tracking computers to receive the silent, coded signals coming from your equipment or vehicle. Those signals quickly pinpoint the vehicle's location and lead police to a rapid recovery - usually within one day and often within a few hours.

LoJack Early Warning Recovery System
For an added layer of protection to your LoJack System, LoJack Early Warning alerts you by phone, e-mail or alpha pager if your vehicle has been moved without authorization.
